Personal Attention

The breaking process is an exciting stage of a young horse’s development and one which we hope our clients will become engaged in. We provide extensive   reporting to our clients by email and will happily send updates on request.

Our Service

Stoneridge Park primarily offers breaking, pre- training and spelling services. We are also experienced in re-educating horses with specific issues and prepare young horses for breeze up and ready-to-run sales.  Irrespective of engagement-type or breeding, every horse receives a consistent high level of care.

The standard breaking-in process takes approximately five to six weeks to complete. This time frame does depend on the amount and type of handling the young horse has experienced before arrival.

Each stage of the process is completed with great attention to detail. Horses are mouthed, lunged and driven giving them a solid grounding. We cover stable basics such as being boxed, rugged, tied up and having their feet handled before any ridden work commences. Under saddle our horses are taught to work individually and in the company of others. We pride ourselves in delivering relaxed, well educated horses.
